Trump Picks Rep. Elise Stefanik for U.N. Ambassador; Biden, Harris Mark Veterans Day

President-elect Donald Trump has chosen Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) to serve as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Trump said in a statement on Monday. The House Republican Conference chair, 40-year-old Stefanik has been a fierce Trump ally.

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris participated in a Veterans Day wreath-laying ceremony on Monday at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery. Biden also delivers remarks at the Memorial Amphitheater in Arlington.
